For 15 years,
Paul W. Rebein, Esq. represented Fortune 500 Clients in personal
injury, products liability and business cases. As partner at a
major law firm, he found himself drawn to the people – not the
businesses – who genuinely needed his help. “I wanted to help
individuals instead of large companies,” says Paul. “I like
knowing I’m making a difference in someone’s life.” Growing up on
a farm in Kansas, Paul and his six brothers knew the meaning of
hard work at a young age, and that has stayed with him.
Mr.
Rebein received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University
of Virginia School of Law in 1992
and graduated with highest distinction
from the University of Kansas with a B.A in 1989.
Mr. Rebein is licensed to practice law in
Florida, Missouri and Kansas.
Mr.
Rebein has been a board member and the Legal Panel Chair for the Tampa
Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and has handled several
high profile cases. These cases include a successful defense of the
“MacDill 9” protestor criminal trial; SpeakUp Tampa Bay v.
Hillsborough County Commissioners, a case where he successfully
overturned the County’s elimination of funding for public access
television; and McKune v. Lile, a 5th Amendment case
that was argued before the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Rebein is also a
board member and Regional Co-Chair of the Lawyers Committee for Civil
Rights Under Law, a prominent civil rights organization in Washington,
D.C.
Mr. Rebein is
currently handling several class actions including cases against
Wal-Mart, Netflix, Dairy Farmers of America, Inc., and
Phillips-Magnavox. He is also representing clients throughout the
state of Florida in litigation involving the drug Reglan.
Paul’s goal is to get
his clients the maximum results. "I’m excited to bring my big firm
experience to individuals," he says. "Once I agree to a case, I’m
relentless about getting justice for my clients."
