Hutchins' practice areas include commercial litigation, employment litigation and personal injury. Her experience includes working as a legal clerk in the Kansas Attorney General's office, an appellate law clerk in the Jefferson County Attorney's office and as a legal intern with the Kansas House of Representatives. Hutchins graduated from Kansas State University with a business administration degree, emphasizing human resource management. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas. As a law student, she was selected as an editor for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy.
